To the grieving families of Harry Sampson and Kenneth "Alfalfa" Rolle, and to my grieving classmates. My heart goes out to all of you. At a time like this what words can I say? The only ones that come to my mind are..."I Love YOU and I CARE!

"May the souls of all the faithful and departed , through the Mercy of God the father, Rest in Peace."
"When I Must Leave You"
When I must leave you for a little while, Please do not grieve and shed whild tears. And hug your sorrow through the years, But start out bravely with a gallant smile, And for their sake and in their name. Live on and do all the things the same, Feed not your
loneliness on empty days, But fill each waking hour in useful ways, Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer, And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near, and never, never be afraid to die, For they are waiting for us in the sky.--Helen Steiner Rice May Peace Be With You My FRIENDS. Connie (Miss Northwestern-1972)

To the families of Harold Sampson, Kenneth "Alfalfa" Rolle, and my extended Northwestern family; let us rejoice in our sorrow for we were blessed to have had Harold and Alfalfa in our lives even if it wasn't as long as we would have liked. Because we know that God will never put more on us than we can bear; with prayer and God's help the feeling of loss will only endure for a short time. God will carry us all through this; he promised and God always keeps his word. My prayers are with you all. Davann Garrett, Class of 72

My deepest sympathy go out to the families of Kenneth Rolle and Harold Sampson. Falfa and I attended Tennessee State University together, and our local 'Big Blue Tigers' family is feeling empty due to his passing as well. During these times of strife, we must all remain steadfast and prayerful.
Fellow NW Bulls, you guys are doing a great job, and this webpage is BEAUTIFUL.
